About BARN DOORS

Create a one of a kind look with a custom barn door. From replacing an standard swinging door to save space, updating a bi-fold closet door or creating a entry way to almost any room, sliding barn doors give any space a classic look and allow for plenty of customization from materials to hardware. Sliding barn doors are great for bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, pantries, closets and areas where narrow hallways restrict swing door movement or as a great alternative to a french door into a room. Options for barn doors are almost endless, both standard sliding styles or bypass barn doors can be constructed with reclaimed or up-cycled materials and designed to fit your personal taste and home decor. The sky is the limit for customization and we love the creative process. Browse our gallery or contact us to discuss your barn door project.

BARN DOOR MATERIALS

Design possibilities are almost endless with a custom barn door. Barn doors made of new materials can be lovely but we really enjoy the opportunities to use reclaimed and different materials in our barn door projects.

Base pricing for custom doors includes new pine materials but we are happy to discuss and combination of materials you would like.

BARN DOOR FINISHES

All of our custom barn doors come with three coats of water based polyurethane for a long lasting protective finish. Doors that are constructed from new pine materials include staining with a Minwax finish. Most doors constructed from reclaimed materials are not stained so that the unique beauty of the wood shows through. We can of course accommodate any special request finishes you have in mind.

BARN DOOR HARDWARE

Our standard door hardware kit is shown above and fits a single 6'7" opening. It has a clean look and quality powder coated finish over .25 inch thick metal.

One of the key features for your sliding bar door is the hardware you select. Track hardware and door handle selection allows you to personalize your barn door and is available in a wide variety of finishes and styles. Depending on your space you may want hardware for either a standard sliding barn door or a bypass barn door.
