Like any custom woodworking project, this can be a hard question to answer. It all depends on the materials, size and hardware selected for your door. In general a standard 36" new door starts at around $700 before installation. Options for hardware, door materials or non-standard design all impact the cost of the door but $700 is a good starting point for most single doors.
